Lisa Freeman Stephens, CPA was established in 1986 and through various name changes and affiliations has been actively providing accounting, auditing and tax planning and compliance services to businesses and individuals for over 23 years. The firm serves a wide range of closely held and middle market businesses and their owners. In addition, the firm also serves or has served a number of nonprofit and governmental entities.

The firm has, since its founding, demonstrated a commitment to quality services. Although I am the only CPA in the firm, I utilize other semi-professionals on a full and part-time basis. My daughter, Jillian Walden, is an accounting and finance graduate of the University of Central Arkansas and with 10 years of experience as a staff accountant with the firm, she will be the second CPA in the firm.

We also have Kristan Wooten and Pam Townsend employed full time in the areas of accounting and tax and Sara Hoke part time.

I am a member of the Americal Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. I am also enrolled in the peer review program and had my last successful peer review in December, 2007. I comply with the continuing professional education requirement of the Arkansas State Board of Public Accounancy, and the U.S. General Accounting Office.
